So Hillary would have you believe a bed pan orderly in a hospital ought to be paid as much as a surgeon because the surgeon is male and the orderly is female.
Yet, according to Pew Research (see: On Equal Pay Day, Key Facts about the Gender Pay Gap), women tend to kill their chances at equal pay precisely because on average, women are more likely to jump out and in of the workforce. By doing so, women tend to shorten their cumulative experience, which likely leads to lower pay.
Likely of greater significance, most women avoid acquiring skills needed for higher paying occupations. So there are not as many women studying to work as electrical engineers, surgeons, airline pilots and so forth. In short, women decide to work in lower-paying occupations more so than men. And thus women would need to work more hours to gain the same sum since their pay rates are lower by their own doing.

If Hillary wins the presidency, and likely she will, Hillary will have won solely because she is a woman. Her entire career has been conjured, from being gifted the junior senator seat in New York to being appointed Secretary of State as a consolation prize by Obama.
